I have been undertaking digital photo restoration since 1996. So, if you have precious family
photos which are creased, faded or damaged then rest assured that most of them can be
restored with no risk to the originals.

My Mother didn't get on with my Grandmother but I put
them on the same seat 50 years later
(My Mother was really cross when she saw this!)
I was told that all these young
men survived the First World War
Even if the colour really can't be brought back, a
good black and white picture is better than no picture
at all
A memory of a day out without looking as if
you're imprisoned
Your original photo will be scanned and stored. I can then make changes to the brightness and
contrast, remove marks and creases and restore torn edges. Your photo can be made to look as
good as on the day it was first taken. I can get rid of unwanted background objects or even people
from a photo. It is also possible to combine two or more images if you want to create a single
picture of people who happen to be in different photos or to create a montage which is an ideal gift
for a special birthday or anniversary. From old photos, the prints can be sepia tinted in order to
avoid them looking too ‘modern’.
The finished output is on a photographic weight paper. Your pictures are produced as photo quality
computer prints up to A3.
Work is charged according to the time spent - obviously, the more crucial the area of damage (such
as on facial features), the more time will be needed.
To make life simpler, two basic services have been introduced which cover the majority of work.
These are the Standard and Premier Services. Restoration beyond this amount of damage or the
merging of two or more photographs comes within the Expert Service. Please see the price list for
details of services available.
